Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal data we handle when you visit our website or contact us, and the rights you have. We keep things deliberately minimal — no cookies, no analytics, no tracking.

Last updated: 2 June 2026

This English version is the authoritative text. Any translation of this notice elsewhere on the site is provided for convenience only; if there is a conflict, the English version prevails.

1. Who we are

ThaiConnect (“ThaiConnect”, “we”, “us”) is a business-advisory and on-the-ground services provider based in Bangkok, Thailand, operated by ThaiConnect, 92/26 Thanon Rat Phatthana, Saphan Sung, Bangkok 10240, Thailand. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us at info@thaiconnect.net or by WhatsApp at +66 940 509 427.

2. What data we collect

We only handle the data you choose to give us, plus basic technical data needed to run the site:

  • Information you send us — when you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the contact details and message content you provide (for example your name, email address or phone number, and whatever you tell us about your enquiry).
  • Server log data — like virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.

We do not operate contact forms, user accounts, newsletters or any marketing profiling on this site.

3. Cookies and tracking

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising or tracking pixels. Our fonts are self-hosted, so loading the site does not send your data to any third-party font or CDN service. Because we set no non-essential cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required.

4. Why we use your data and our legal basis

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, our legal bases are:

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you request — performance of a contract or taking steps at your request before entering into one (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep our website and communications secure — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We also comply with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), which governs how we handle personal data as a Thailand-based provider.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We may share it only:

  • with vetted, independent specialists (such as lawyers, accountants, suppliers or logistics partners) where you ask us to coordinate an engagement on your behalf;
  • with our website hosting provider, which processes server log data on our behalf;
  • with the email and messaging providers (for example WhatsApp) you choose to contact us through — their own privacy terms apply to those channels.

6. International transfers

We are based in Thailand and handle your data there. If you contact us from the EU, UK, Australia, the United States or elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in Thailand, which is outside your home jurisdiction. By contacting us you understand this transfer is necessary to respond to you.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting engagement, plus any period required for legal, accounting or record-keeping purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (GDPR and the Thai PDPA), you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@thaiconnect.net. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority in your country.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The current version always shows the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
